Full of paper cuts
and empty of     tape
I’ve folded and creased 
trees, elves and St. Nick
with baubles, reindeer and stars
patterns rarely    matching
but working all the same
I can’t wait to see looks on 
my loved ones     faces 
as all my work is undone
