Advent Calendar Haiku #2

Today’s haiku is a little earlier than day one simply because the 1st December was hectic!

Frosty pavements
glisten like gems underfoot;
the fire needs feeding.

Remember to come back tomorrow for another Winter or Christmas haiku.
