The wreath shines
in winter light 
scarlet holly glowing 
slices of scented citrus 
glistening like stained glass 
even long-dried pinecones 
have a revived golden aura 
emerald fir and spruce branches 
hold everything together 
this natural bracelet
a truly precious 
and priceless gift.
